The High Frequency 2 is the second generation design using the equalizer theme. This version has a 3D style display and uses brighter, pure green LED’s to represent the time. The case and strap on this version have been re-engineered giving this time piece a solid, reflective quality.
A single push of the upper button pushes up the top row of lights before they float back down in a real equalizer effect. Finally all the lights fall down off the screen leaving just two lights which indicate the time for five seconds before trailing off.
The light remaining in the upper part of the display indicates the hour, the light remaining in the lower part of the display indicates the minutes in groups of five along the bottom with single minutes displayed in vertical columns above.
Pushing the button twice reveals the date, with the month represented in the upper display and the day in the lower part of the display.
The technology behind this design, using an Advanced LCD with only one LED to light the entire display means that less power is used and overall power consumption is minimized.
This impressive design is sure to get you noticed, maybe even enough to compete with the bright lights of Tokyo.
